What a great experience at one of the most scenic RV Campgrounds I have ever been to. The location and views of Gros Morne and the Tableland from the sites are absolutely stunning and majestic, no matter the weather. The RV Park is small and quiet with full hook up which makes absolutely ideal for using as a base to visit North Peninsula. We enjoyed it so much being there Fred and Donna are great hosts.-

This site is a gem. A small campground located on a bluff overlooking the middle of Bonne Bay across from Woody Point and with magnificent views of the mountains of Gros Morne National park. Sites are full service and wifi is provided but not used by me . Star Link users will have no issues with obstructions here. The owners Donna and Fred are very friendly and ready to assist with any issues that may arise. Access to Gros Morne is a short drive away and a ferry over to Woody Point and a harbor cruise are available about 1km away. I had no problem with 4G cell service roaming on a Verizon phone

Great campground. Very well located at the center of the Gros Morne National Park. Super quiet. The view is awesome. Very close by, there is a little grocery store with fresh bread, a wharf where you can fish and an aquarium. Also at few steps from the campground there is an excellent restaurant (Old Store Café) and also an excellent ice cream shop. The communication with the owner, Donna, is extremely easy. She's very helpful and incredibly kind. My wife and I had a wonderful experience at this place. Highly recommended. Pictures show some viewpoints from the campground.- Eric O

We have stayed here twice now and I can’t say enough about how much we enjoy it. It is very quiet, the views are simply stunning and the owners are very nice and friendly. We must of left something on in our motorhome because one morning the battery was dead. Donna’s husband (I wish I could remember his name) drove 20 minutes away to get his booster cables and then was adamant he would not take any money for his troubles. Again I can’t recommend shoal Point Campground enough! We will be back again next summer.- John B

If you are looking for a campground to call home while in Gros Morne National Park, you would be hard pressed to find ANYTHING that compares to this. The view is amazing. We watched a whale, dolphins and seals from our campsite. The owners are the most amazing hosts you will ever find. So very sad to be leaving this beautiful place today. These are views from our campsite.

Norris Point is on my TOP Places to visit when you go to Newfoundland. Donna and Fred are Super hosts! Incredibly kind and easy going. The views at the RV park are unreal! Sun rise and Sun sets here are nothing you've seen before. When you stay at the RV park, you are really close to Gros Morne and the table lands. There are hiking trails within walking distance from the RV park. The people in Norris Point are the best kind of people you will meet! We got to experience a boat tour, cod fishing, hiking, ate the best fish and chips, explored the museum, and enjoyed delicious coffee on the water front. Ask the locals about live music in Rocky Harbour ( A MUST when you go to Norris Point). Highly recommend booking this spot if you want a real Newfoundland Experience. You won't be disappointed!- Krista B

If you are looking for an absolutely beautiful and very quiet RV park setting for your stay in the Norris Point, Rocky Harbour area, this is the place. We were there for 17 days while visiting Gros Morne NP, the western coastline, St. Anthony and Twillingate. Donna and Fred are the nicest hosts! The views are stunning! We had such a great time, and it was so hard to leave! We are hoping to return next year.
